PLC optical splitters SC/APC
Passive optical splitters with 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 16, 32 or 64 outputs are used to build optical networks in a star topology.
Optical splitters are passive elements of a fiber optic network, allowing for equal division of optical power into two, three, four (and more) equal paths. Made in planar PLC technology, they guarantee high and repeatable optical parameters, low insertion losses and stable operation in the 1260nm ~ 1650nm band.
The splitters are enclosed in a durable ABS housing of optimal dimensions, thanks to which they can be easily mounted in fiber optic distribution boxes and panels. The splitter input and output channels are led out with a Corning SMF-28e patchcord cable terminated with an SC/APC connector. The patchcords are 2mm thick, 1m long and use ITU-G.657A fiber.
Purpose: FTTx, PON, LAN, MAN, WAN networks and cable networks. The splitters are designed for indoor use.
