Compression connectors are an important, although often underestimated element of RTV/SAT installations. They are responsible for good contact between connections on the device-cable line and for minimizing signal losses, and therefore the attenuation of the entire installation. Studies have confirmed that poor quality compression connectors, despite being properly tightened, can loosen over time and allow moisture to migrate, which will significantly deteriorate the parameters of the distributed signal. Therefore, it is important to use solutions that guarantee the reliability and durability of connections.
PCT compression connectors are distinguished by their very high quality of workmanship, guaranteeing tightness of connections for years. Among other things, they use washers that eliminate vibrations of moving parts (thread), thus reducing the risk of loosening the contact.
