WS-909 Multiswitch trunk amplifier
The WS-909 is an amplifier designed for 9-channel multiswitch installations (HotBird + ASTRA). This device is used to boost the signal of the multiswitch trunk in situations where a large number of multiswitches need to be cascaded or where there are very large distances between multiswitches, the multiswitch, and the satellite antenna.
The amplifier has built-in cable characteristic correction (with a slope of 10dB). One undeniable advantage of the WS-909 is its very high maximum output level in both the SAT and terrestrial TV paths. With such excellent parameters, the amplifier can be mounted at short distances from the satellite antenna without the risk of overloading.

- selectable ACTIVE/PASSIVE mode available for the TER path,
- DC-pass voltage transfer from outputs to inputs (SAT path).
