TMX2HD modulator encoder DVB-T/C
The TMX2HD modulator is ideal for transmitting the signal of an STB, computer, recorder or other device with an HDMI output to a coaxial installation. The modulated signal is received by any TV/decoder supporting DVB-T/C and the MPEG-4 standard. 2 HDMI inputs allow you to modulate 2 channels/images to one DVB-T/C MUX, which will save you money and space in the network.
Ideal for implementing a small hotel installation built on the principle of a DVB-T/T2 decoder + DVB-T/C modulator.
For example, modulating 8 channels from a DVB-T2/HEVC MUX to 4 DVB-T/MPEG4 mux requires a set of 8 DVB-T2 receivers/STBs (e.g. TTbox type) and 4 TMX2HD modulators. An installation based on single modulators would require 8 STBs and 8 DVB-T modulators, which is associated with higher costs, energy consumption and space required in the technical room.
